Robyn D. Watson

Board Chair

Robyn Watson is an Information Technology executive for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina where she leads a team of Infrastructure Designers and Engineers with the responsibility of planning and executing large-scale solutions. She has over 25 years of IT experience, which is matched by her years of dedicated community service and philanthropic activities. She has made it her personal mission to create positive change in young people, organizations, and underserved communities through servant leadership.

She is a charter member of the Upsilon Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she has created and implemented numerous programs, including the Emeralds of Excellence Scholarship program which has awarded over $500k in scholarships to date.  Robyn has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Tuskegee University) and a Master of Business Administration (Webster University). She is married with two children and loves spending time with her family and traveling.
